Abstract: The Biophysics of Cellular Hydration – Mechanisms, Functions and Clinical Implications

A healthy mesenchymal matrix contains cellular water, electrolytes and soluble fibrin, and has excellent electro-conductive and dielectric properties. It is therefore a good electrical conductor of bio-energy signals. Water plays many roles within the body; as a media for, and contributor to, molecular interactions; as a solvent and separating medium, to carry and distribute nutrients, metabolites, hormones and other materials around the body and within cells; to remove waste products. Researchers studying water have identified a progression of the disease process in our body. We can call this the "cycle of disease," because a direct progression of deterioration in the body as it becomes susceptible to disease can be seen. It begins with cellular water that is contaminated with toxins and chemicals that can't be neutralized and as a result, changes the chemistry of body fluids.
